About this episode

Education is a topic that keeps coming up on my podcast, at conferences, in government offices and while chatting to parents. It is an establishment that hasn’t changed much over time.

I wanted to hear the thoughts of a leader in the education sector and someone who is in charge of the learning and well being of ~2000 kids at the American School of Dubai (ASD). As a disclaimer, I am an ASD parent and that’s why I took extra pleasure in hosting Dr. Druggan.

We discuss the role that schools play in the development of our children and the responsibilities that schools have in raising children that are whole, both emotionally, academically and socially. We discuss the need for diversity of thought, how can schools teach resilience and confidence, how are schools dealing with mental health and we wrap with some heartfelt advice to parents.

A must-listen episode for any parent and a call to action to schools and the business community alike to do more and play an active role in the development of our children.
